Life pushes us to continue to grow.
I want to start off by thanking every one of you who have supported me and my business the past 5 1/2 years. I am truly touched by the outpouring of support during these times. It just goes to show that coming together as a community (physically and virtually) can move mountains and bring a smile to someones face. It's the little things.
Now, this is my first ever blog and website so bear with me as I learn along the way, as I'm sure many of you are doing in your every day life at this time. I have worked more in the past 2 weeks than I had all of March. Countless hours, late nights and tired eyes have gone into building this site. Nothing like the present moment to learn something new, right?! The website was something I have wanted to do for years, but I knew it was a HUGE task to take on and boy was I right. I looked at the shutdown as an opportunity to finally take on such a big project.
To be honest, I was mad I was shut down. Not because I would have lost my source of income (I trust the Universe) but the fact that I could no longer provide items that my customers so very much wanted because those items help bring them calm and peace during troubled times. That deeply upset me. For a moment I felt defeated. I'm suppose to be the light in the dark for people who need guidance, comfort or a positive word or two. If burning sage calms your worried mind, brings your stress levels down and can put a smile on your face, then I've done my job. If focusing on a crystal in your hand to help bring yourself back to center, then I've done my job. So how do I continue to do what ever I can to help others? Get creative. Build a website!
So this is where the bend in the road has taken me. To a website where I can still provide such items and who knows where this will take me and Down 2 Earth. I trust in whats to come and that it will be good. The key is to stay positive.
It's kind of exciting isn't it?!
